This week at Wangi will be less busy with KYB and Kids Club on holidays and no Community Lunch.
Wangi UCA's activities for this week include:-
9 -11 am Saturday (5/4) Gardening
9am Sunday - Worship lead by Greg and Maryle Smyth. Sorry no morning tea as we will be having afternoon tea after the concert.
2pm Sunday - The Stilling St Singers present "All you need is Love" Concert. Cost is $10 including Afternoon Tea. Children under 14yrs Free. All proceeds go to Wangi UCA, Yes Us! So please come and support this event. Come and join in the community singing numbers. Singing is great for mind and soul.
9-11am Thursday - Gardening - Please try and make it for a planning meeting around 10:30am. If it is raining, still please come for the meeting.
9-11am Saturday - Gardening unless raining.
Future Events
Saturday May 31st - Lake Mac Crop swap will replace our usual French Road Community Garden time. From 11am there will be a workshop on Vegetable Gardening 101 held by Purple Pear Farm. We hope to swap and sell plants and provide morning tea on this day. We would appreciate help from everyone especially those people who can cook scones or other morning tea goodies.
We have a variety of leaders for our Sunday service. Our kid friendly Christmas Eve Service is at 7:30pm. (We don't hold services on Christmas Day or Good Friday - try Morisset or Toronto churches)

This Bible study is based on the Know Your Bible (KYB) material. The group is interdenominational - all women are welcome. Held every Tuesday at 1:00 pm during school term in the church hall.
This is for Primary aged kids - K to 6. Activities include afternoon tea, craft, games, a meal, story and songs. Held fortnightly during school term from 4pm to 6pm at our church buildings. (The first Kids Club of the term is in the second week of school term)
The French Rd Community Garden is a group of keen amateur gardeners who got together in mid-2024 to form a community garden based in grounds of the Wangi Uniting Church at 3 French Rd, Wangi. Click here for more details
